How we handle your personal data under the GDPR.
Controller
Rowdy Geenen, reachable via domainowner@visitlembonganisland.com, is responsible for the processing of personal data via visitlembonganisland.com.
What data we collect
We only process data you provide yourself: through the contact form on our Contact page (name, email address, message), through the domain acquisition inquiry form on the Acquire This Domain page (name, company, email, phone/WhatsApp, acquisition type, offer, message), and, with your permission, anonymised visitor statistics through Google Analytics.
Purpose of the processing
Contact and acquisition inquiry data is used only to answer your message. Analytics data is used to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. We never sell your data to third parties.
Spam prevention
To prevent spam and abuse of our forms, we process your IP address in hashed (pseudonymised) form together with your email address, to limit submissions to one per 24 hours per visitor. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the forms usable and free of abuse. The data collected for this purpose is minimal, kept for 30 days, and never published. Hashing an IP address reduces the risk to you, but it remains personal data under the GDPR for as long as we can technically link it back to a request, so the rights described below apply to it in full. Form submissions are also checked against Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection service; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for how it processes data during that check.
Retention period
Contact and acquisition inquiry details are not kept longer than necessary to handle your message.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict processing. Send a request through our contact form or by emailing domainowner@visitlembonganisland.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
